This page provides download links for the core Canvas Chess files, as well as additional graphics that can be added to the project.

Canvas Chess

To download the zipped Canvas Chess files, right-click on the download link and select "Save link as".

Download Canvas Chess 0.1.0

After the zip file has been downloaded and extracted, there will be a folder called "canvaschess" containing the following contents:

  • canvaschess
    • canvaschess-0.1.0.min.js
    • pgnviewer-0.1.0.min.js
    • pgn.min.css
    • img
      • pieces
      • themes
The Merida piece set and a wood board theme are included in the img directory. See Get Started for a guide to installing these files on your web server.

Piece Sets

Canvas Chess comes with the Merida piece set, but additional sets are available in the list below. All sets are a collection of royalty free SVG images. If you would like to contribute a new set to the list, please send a message to our Facebook page.

Chessboard Themes
